CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center website — The Construction Engineering Research Laboratory in Champaign, Illinois, has successfully three-dimensionally printed a 512 square-foot concrete structure.

Work on the solar array began in 2012 when the Fort Campbell Directorate of Public Works partnered with the Huntsville Center and the Department of Energy to put together a renewable energy plan for the post.

ERDC named to Million Dollar Board

Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center website — The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center has recently been named by the Department of the Army’s Defense Logistics Agency for Disposition Services to the Army’s Million Dollar Board.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is using a 65-ton crane provided by DLA Troop Support Pacific for hydraulic hoist maintenance on lift gates at the Albeni Falls Dam in Idaho. The dam converts river water into hydroelectricity, reduces floods and provides recreational activities.

Crane delivery helps lift support to USACE in Northwest

Albeni, Idaho — Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Pacific recently provided the muscle for heavy lifting required to help maintain the Albeni Falls Dam in Idaho.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is using a 65-ton crane provided by DLA Troop Support Pacific for hydraulic hoist maintenance on lift gates at the Albeni Falls Dam in Idaho. The dam converts river water into hydroelectricity, reduces floods and provides recreational activities.
