The Defense Supply Center Columbus Police Department hosted a Trunk-or-Treat event on Oct. 29 in the parking lot near the Byus Community Center.  The event was designed to enhance the relationship between DSCC associates and the Police Department while bringing back a true sense of community.

Annual Halloween event attracts enthusiasts from all ‘walks of life’

Chills and thrills were in the air as nearly 200 participants ran, walked and even wheeled their way along the path during the McNamara Headquarters Complex annual Halloween 5K event Oct. 31. This year’s theme was “Zombies,” but costumes were as varied as the participants themselves.

More than 100 employees participated in the HQC Halloween 5K Run/Walk at the McNamara Headquarters Complex Nov. 5. The Morale, Welfare and Recreation Program office sponsored the zombie-themed event, which had been postponed from Oct. 28 due to inclement weather.

DLA Distribution participates in Child Development Center parade

With the spookiest time of the year upon us, the tenants of Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna lined the streets surrounding the Child Development Center and the installation fire station to hand out candy to approximately 120 ghouls, goblins, superheroes and princesses on Oct. 30.
