Monsters, humans unite to dash, walk at Halloween 5K

Costumed characters, ghouls and other eccentric spirits made the McNamara Headquarters Complex a frightful scene as they ran and walked together Oct. 26 — along with plenty of regular humans.

Advocate for deaf community bridges communication gap

The Equal Employment Offices of the McNamara Headquarters Complex tenant agencies hosted a final event to celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness month Oct. 25. Katrina Labouliere, a sign language interpreter, spoke to employees about “Creating a Deaf-Friendly Environment.”

Positive attitude, faith lead DLA employee with disabilities to DoD recognition

A DLA employee's courage when faced with a neurological disorder that had doctors giving him only 30 days left to live has been recognized with an award from the secretary of Defense.

New process incorporates digital telework requests with timekeeping system

For eligible employees, telework provides a means of meeting mission requirements at an alternate work site while eliminating stressors associated with commutes, parking and common workplace interruptions. Currently, approximately 16,000 Defense Logistics Agency employees are telework eligible.
