German National Raphael Kerwien began working with Defense Logistics Agency Aviation in late August under a year-long German Engineering and Scientist Exchange Program with the Department of Defense. Kerwien feels the program provides a valuable learning experience in the work processes, methods and organization of a U.S. federal agency.
