Former Defense Logistics Agency Director retired Navy Vice Adm. Alan Thompson and three others were inducted into the DLA Land and Maritime Hall of Fame in Columbus, Ohio, May 22. Thompson was Defense Supply Center Columbus commander from 2001 to 2003.

A cellular antenna recently installed at the McNamara Headquarters Complex will improve cellular signals throughout the building. Formerly found on the roof of the decommissioned DeWitt Army Community Hospital, the antenna was acquired through a unique partnership.

Defense Logistics Agency announces 2012 Hall of Fame inductees
Five former employees have been selected for induction into the Defense Logistics Agency Hall of Fame, the agency’s top personnel officer announced May 20. Inductees will be recognized during a July 30 ceremony at the McNamara Headquarters Complex.
