DLA is responsible for contracting, purchasing, storing and distributing most of the consumable, expendable and reparable items for DoD. Its primary purpose is to meet the logistics requirements of the armed forces for food, clothing, fuel, repair parts and other items.

Learn more about G-InvoicingDLA is committed to meeting the U.S. Treasury mandate to broker all intragovernmental buying and selling transactions in the Governmental Invoicing system. All trading partners and customers must negotiate or approve general terms and conditions of 7600A agreements at the highest possible level based on structure before processing orders.


These are services DLA provides to DoD customers and other customers as authorized by law. Whole of government (WOG) customers may have access to some but not all of these services. WOG customers should consult with a DLA representative to determine their access to particular services.
