Case named DLA vice director
The director of Defense Logistics Agency Information Operations has been named the next vice director of DLA. Ted Case was named to replace Mae DeVincentis in an e-mail from DLA Director Navy Vice Adm. Mark Harnitchek to the agency’s senior leaders Jan. 31.
DLA announces Employees of the Quarter
Michelle Leschke, a lead contract specialist with DLA Aviation, and David Lamm, a petroleum liaison officer with DLA Energy, are the DLA Employees of the Quarter fourth quarter of fiscal 2011. The two were selected from among 32 nominations submitted.
DLA Disposition Services engages in Texas horse trading
When a favorite horse in the caisson unit at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, didn’t measure up to his fellows, DLA Disposition Services helped find him a new home. Tommy is now a member of the Yuma County, Ariz.'s Sheriff's Office.
