EEO Federal Women's Program (FWP) - Women’s Leadership Summit

DLA Land and Maritime Equal Employment Office’s Federal Women’s Program will host a Women’s Leadership Summit March 28 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. in the Armed Forces Reserve Center (Bldg. 2) on the Defense Supply Center Columbus.

The Summit offers workshops and a panel of extraordinary women with diverse backgrounds who will share their career experiences to enable participants to enhance their leadership skills. Participants will receive five Continuous Learning Points (CLP).

Seating is limited; participants must email the registration form to FWPSummitReg@dla.mil no later than Friday, March 23. Registrations received after that day will not be accepted. Participants are encouraged to register early as attendance is based on first-come/first-serve. Supervisory approval and signature is required. The Summit is open to all Defense Federal Community employees.

During the Summit, the FWP will host the 2018 Women of the Year Award Luncheon from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., honoring an outstanding military and civilian woman for service in their career as well as to their communities. The keynote speaker will be Ms. Jacqueline T. Williams, Ohio Department of Commerce director.

Tickets are $20, and must be purchased no later than Friday, March 23. Tickets may be purchased in front of Bldg. 20’s Café from 11 a.m. to 1p.m., Monday thru Friday, March 5 - 23.

Bus transportation to and from the summit and luncheon will be provided from various pick-up points on the DSCC Installation, including the front of buildings 11, 20, 21 and 306.
