Incoming Defense Logistics Agency Pacific Commander Navy Capt. Kristin Acquavella visited Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, April 23, 2018.

Acquavella met with DLA Aviation Commander Air Force Brig. Gen. Linda Hurry, as well as DLA Aviation Deputy Commander Charlie Lilli.

During Acquavella's windshield tour of the center, which included a stop at DLA Aviation’s Customer Operations Directorate, Mapping Customer Operations Division, she received an extensive briefing of the division’s worldwide operations from Kevin Bettis, chief and Danielle Booker, Print on Demand program manager. Additionally, she got a quick tour of the Print on Demand facility, seeing first-hand, its capabilities.

Acquavella was accompanied on her tour by DLA Pacific Military Deputy Commander Army Col. Brent Coryell and DLA Pacific Deputy Commander Angel Colon.

She currently serves as the chief, Maintenance, Materiel and Services Division, Joint Staff in Washington District of Columbia. She assumes command of DLA Pacific, located at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii in July, replacing Navy Capt. Timothy Daniels.

Acquavella said she came away from her day at DLA Aviation impressed.

“I’ve worked with DLA Aviation for many years as a Navy Supply Corps officer in the aviation realm, so I’m familiar with what they bring to the fight.” she said.
