COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 13, 2019 —
The heavy winter storm Feb 1 couldn't keep the People and Culture recruiters from participating at the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges CareerFest.
OFIC consists of 33 independent Ohio colleges and universities.
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime recruiters were David Lanzillotta and Notasha Fant.
The job fair focused on introducing potential applicants to perspective employers.
This fair allowed recruiters to inform job seekers about DLA and the many employment opportunities available throughout the agency including Land and Maritime.
The DLA booth attracted approximately 60 individuals who expressed interest in working for DLA Land and Maritime or the federal government.
The majority of questions were about current job announcements. As a result, recruiters spent a large amount of time discussing USAJobs and DLA Land and Maritime. They also highlighted the many hiring programs promoted by DLA.
