Future Operation’s Mark Singh received a commander’s coin during DLA Distribution Commanding Officer Navy Rear Adm. Kevin M. Jones’ employee recognition event Feb. 26.
Singh was instrumental in the United States Transportation Command Global Blueprinting Efforts. Working alongside USTRANSCOM subordinate commands and military service representatives, he captured critical requirements for the USTRANSCOM Transportation Management System.
An expert in his field, Singh partnered with various representatives from the Department of Defense transportation community during the USTRANSCOM -TMS site visit at two DLA Distribution sites. He ensured accurate, relevant Distribution business policies were provided to the TMS developmental team at each site.
A key member of the DLA TMS Integrated Product Team, Singh conducted extensive research on the anticipated workload increase that will result during the TMS test phase. This significant information will weigh heavily on the outcome of DLA Distribution’s contribution of the TMS prototypes.
