COLUMBUS, Ohio –
The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Commander Navy Rear Adm. John Palmer, along with Defense Finance and Accounting Services - Columbus Director Pamela Franceschi hosted Rep. Michael R. Turner during an installation visit Aug. 23 at the Defense Supply Center Columbus. Turner represents the 10th Congressional District of Ohio made up of Montgomery, Greene, and Fayette Counties.
During his visit Turner was provided with an in-depth briefing explaining the financial services support that DFAS-Columbus provides to their stakeholders, and an overview of DLA Land and Maritime and DSCC operations.
Before departing for the day, Turner was provided a tour of the installation that focused on the strategic importance of DSCC tenant organizations, their functions and their substantial contributions to the nation’s armed forces mission and readiness efforts.
