COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 30, 2019 —
The September New Employee Orientation was held Sept. 25-26 in Building 20. The session was attended by 15 new associates from the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime, Installation Services and J8C. There was some unexpected excitement and hands on activity when a fire drill followed the Defense Supply Center Columbus Fire Department presentation! Fortunately, it was an exercise and all were able to resume after only a short delay.
The presenters covered most of the organizations located on the facility and gave the new employees insight into the different services available to them. The new employees appeared very receptive to the speakers, especially enjoying the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Office presentation of the many amenities accessible thru this organization. A windshield tour was offered at the conclusion of the second day by DLA Installation Services.
Please welcome these new employees as they begin their DLA careers!
