By DLA Public Affairs

The July/August issue of Loglines magazine explores a range of topics from across DLA. Included in this issue:

  • “A Proper Fit” highlights the resourcefulness of DLA Land & Maritime, who devised a way to come up with a needed part that was in short supply.
  • “Synchronizing the Effort” describes the work of DLA’s Joint Logistics Operations Center.
  • “Factory to Foxhole” looks at how DLA works with USTRANSCOM to serve the warfighter.
  • “Keep Them Flying” discusses how DLA Aviation supports several long-serving but crucial military aircraft.
  • “Logistics Live and On Location” explains how DLA’s expeditionary logistics teams stay ready to deplore worldwide to support contingency operations.
This issue also features Police Chief Chuepheng Lo, the nation’s first police chief of Hmong descent, who came to the United States as a refugee; the latest on DLA’s use of bio-based engine oils; a look at the Warfighter Support Initiative; and a conversation with the outgoing chief of DLA-USTRANSCOM Division.
