Hard work, high achievements praised at DLA Employee Recognition Program

By DLA Public Affairs

Expedited acquisition, increased emergency preparedness and millions of dollars saved were among the achievements the Defense Logistics Agency recognized with awards at the 48th Annual Employee Recognition Program at the McNamara Headquarters Complex Dec. 10.

Before presenting the awards, DLA Director Air Force Lt. Gen. Andy Busch urged employees to remember their colleagues deployed far from their families over the holidays. He also noted that this will be the first holiday season after Krissie Davis of DLA Disposition Services was killed in June, during her second DLA deployment as a civilian expeditionary workforce volunteer in Bagram, Afghanistan. He asked employees to keep Davis’ family in their thoughts and prayers.
