May 20, 2019 - DLA Distribution Headquarters employees and its Multicultural Committee, paid respect to Holocaust Remembrance Day April 30, with a presentation by Retired Pennsylvania Office of Administrative Law Judge Felix Thau and music by the Cedar Cliff High School choir. The theme of this year’s Days of Remembrance is “Learning from the Holocaust: Beyond Religious Boundaries.”

DLA Distribution Yokosuka, Japan, hosts 16 field grade officers from the U.S. Air Force Advanced Study of Air Mobility class May 3. The class received a brief from Navy Cmdr. Allen “AJ” Rivera and then a walkthrough of DDYJ’s warehousing, transportation and distribution services. Jason Evans, DDYJ transportation officer, explained the transportation division of the distribution center to the group during the facility tour.

May 13, 2019 - DLA Land and Maritime Commander Navy Rear Adm. John Palmer and his senior staff hosted DLA Distribution Commander Navy Rear Adm. Kevin Jones May 3 in Columbus, Ohio, for an orientation visit to discuss business operations. Their meeting was part of an Agency-wide initiative to generate increased conversation between supply chains on shared logistics, operating challenges and successes.
