DLA rapid deployment teams ready to provide emergency logistics support
RICHMOND, Va. —
Three Defense Logistics Agency Rapid Deployment Teams stand ready to help military and federal agencies supporting global emergencies like humanitarian assistance and pandemic response. Employees on the cross-functional, 13-member red, white and blue teams are trained to immediately deploy wherever they’re needed.

DLA helps schools provide fresh produce to students, families during COVID-19

Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support employees are working with school districts, produce vendors and officials from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National School Lunch Program to provide fresh produce for breakfasts and lunches that are normally served to students in school cafeterias.

Excess military trucks support LAPD during COVID-19 pandemic
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. —
The department has received three flatbed trucks from the Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services team at Barstow, California, through the Law Enforcement Support Office Program, also known as the 1033 Program.
