Dr. Angela Curtis

Deputy Director, DLA Headquarters Office of EEO and Diversity

Dr. Angela R. Curtis currently serves as Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Deputy Director, Equal Employment Opportunity Diversity and Inclusion Office.  After receiving her bachelor's degree in Journalism from Virginia Union University, she became an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist and was later appointed as Deputy Equal Employment Manager.

Dr. Curtis has served in a variety of leadership roles (Strategic Workforce Planner, Supervisory Customer Support Chief, Management Analysis Officer, Business Development Specialist, Strategic Planner, Chief, Workforce Development and Sourcing Strategy Specialist). She also attended University of Virginia Federal Executive Institute and the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC. She holds certificates in diversity, equity and inclusion from Cornell University and the University of South Florida. She graduated with distinction and earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Organization and Management from Capella University and Master of Science degree with a concentration in Human Resources from Central Michigan University.
