Marines celebrate 244th birthday in Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — They may work for different parts of the Defense Logistics Agency now, but most of the attendees at the Nov. 5 ceremony in the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center’s Palm Garden Room all shared the same title – Marine. They assembled to celebrate the Marine Corps 244th birthday with a cake and the usual traditions.

Marines converge on Defense Supply Center Richmond for three-day course

RICHMOND, VA — Close to 45 Marines, sailors and Department of Defense civilians from around the country and as far away as Japan, converged on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, for the Defense Logistics Agency Marine Aviation Wholesale Resident Course Oct. 28-30. DLA Distribution San Diego, California’s Rogers promoted to chief petty officer
