Land and Maritime Commander gets promotion nod

Secretary of the Navy Richard V. Spencer and Chief of Naval Operations ADM John M. Richardson announced that Navy Rear Admiral (Lower Half) Michelle C. Skubic, who has been selected for promotion to the rank of Rear Admiral, will be assigned as Commander, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) and Chief of Supply Corps, Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Skubic is currently serving as commander, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime, Columbus, Ohio.

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime's Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program hosted the 5th annual Information and Activity Fair to kick-off 2018’s Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month April 4.

A March 28 leadership summit at the Defense Supply Center Columbus honored contributions of women in central Ohio and highlighted their journeys of persistence and resiliency. The Equal Employment Opportunity office’s Federal Women’s Program hosted leading women from the fields of business, politics, government and military as part of its recognition of Women’s History Month.

Land and Maritime associates fill up on leadership at breakfast

Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Deputy Commander Steven Alsup shared his experience on the subject of leadership with associates during his inaugural “Breakfast with Mr. Alsup.” The event was hosted by the Leadership Development Council March 14 in the Operations Center Buckeye and Cardinal rooms at the Defense Supply Center Columbus.
