Puget Sound increases contracting awards nearly 50 percent, awarding small businesses millions
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Puget Sound detachment achieved a 43 percent increase in contracting actions this year. The contracting division executed more than $103 million in contract awards during fiscal year 2018 in support of the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, an increase of nearly 50 percent over FY17.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — One of the most awesome things happened to me May 16. On May 14, I went to the cafeteria. When I got to the register to pay for my lunch, I only had $5 in my hand; mind you I came into the cafeteria with $25. I was upset about losing $20 but just chalked it up as a lost.
