Army, Navy provide Tyndall much-needed support

325th LRS: Helping shape a new Tyndall

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Air Combat Command website — The 325th Logistics Readiness Squadron is a multi-faceted unit working diligently as part of Hurricane Michael recovery efforts, two of their five sections are vehicle operations and vehicle maintenance.

USACE has received 7 FEMA Mission Assignments (7 active, 6 closed), totaling more than $10.5 million for disaster response to Hurricane Michael-damaged areas. One of those missions is to provide Temporary Emergency Power. The USACE Temporary Power PRT and the 249th Engineer Battalion are deployed and assessing sites for installation of emergency generators. DLA Troop Support provides 5,000 meals and 63 generators following Hurricane Michael

PHILADELPHIA — Before Hurricane Michael hit the Florida panhandle Oct. 10, the Federal Emergency Management Agency reached out to Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support for assistance.
