Lives saved with excess equipment in Keystone State

NEW CASTLE, Penn. — First aid kits and tourniquets help police respond to multiple incidents in Pennsylvania.

Emiliano Falca, warehouse worker, Logistic Readiness Center-Italy's Humanitarian Assistance Program - Excess Property, loads humanitarian aid supplies to be shipped to Ukraine, Feb. 13. The shipment supports the United States Agency for International Development Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance (USAID/OFDA) mission to Zhytomyr, Ukraine, providing supplies to a rehabilitation center for women and infants there.
