Troop Support supports EOD mission as national observance nears

National Explosive Ordnance Disposal Day is observed annually on the first Saturday of May to honor the professionals that put their lives on the line to defuse, disarm or contain bombs and other explosive devices. DLA Troop Support provides much of the equipment that military EOD units demand.

DSCC buzzing with activities as kids celebrate Take Your Child to Work Day

Under overcast skies the Defense Supply Center Columbus’ Take Your Child to Work Day kicked off in the building 20 auditorium for the more than 150 children ages 9-17 and their parents. Activities included safety presentations to raise awareness, physical activities like dodgeball, basketball, jump rope, and a visit to Land and Maritime’s Electronics Testing Lab.
