The 877th Quartermaster Company is one of the U.S. Army Reserve units supporting the Canadian Army during Maple Resolve 19. Maple Resolve is a joint, multinational training exercise with multiple countries and over 5000 troops that is hosted to validate the Canadian Army for future missions.

Maple Resolve is a multinational joint training exercise, with over seven countries and more than 6,000 troops, that is hosted by the Canadian Army. The cooks’ mission is to provide meals for the troops involved in the exercise to ensure they are nourished and ready for the task at hand.

Training With Industry through DLA Troop Support: Seizing opportunity

Ursula Stewart, a contracting officer for the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Industrial Hardware supply chain, has always looked for personal and professional development opportunities. So when she had the chance to apply for the Training With Industry program, Stewart contemplated throwing her hat in the proverbial ring. When she though of applying, she didn’t realize was how challenging and enlightening the process would be in deciding if TWI was right for her. But now, as she is getting ready to depart for Amazon’s headquarters in Seattle, Washington in June, she couldn’t be more excited.

DLA Land and Maritime Commander Navy Rear Adm. John Palmer and his senior staff hosted DLA Distribution Commander Navy Rear Adm. Kevin Jones May 3 in Columbus, Ohio, for an orientation visit to discuss business operations. Their meeting was part of an Agency-wide initiative to generate increased conversation between supply chains on shared logistics, operating challenges and successes.
