DLA's Eugene Shearer receives Canadian Meritorious Service Medal
Joint Logistics Operations Center Executive Officer and retired Army Col. Eugene Shearer (second from left) and his family joined Canadian Ambassador to the United States Gary Doer (left) at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C., Dec. 15. Ambassador Doer presented the Canadian Meritorious Service Medal to Shearer for his service on behalf of Canadians as chief of the Combined Joint Logistics Branch within Regional Command South, Afghanistan, from May 2010 to June 2011.
