Architect, engineer and entrepreneur Timothy Haahs speaks to DLA Troop Support and NAVSUP Weapons Systems Support employees during an Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month event in Philadelphia May 24, 2018. Haahs discussed his experiences growing up in a leper colony in South Korea, coming to the U.S. when he was 12 years old, receiving two heart transplants and becoming a U.S. Senate-confirmed appointee to the Board of Directors of the National Institute of Building Sciences.
