Employees from the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville receive a site briefing by a SunPower Corporation contractor before visiting a solar array construction site on Redstone Arsenal. The project is the first Power Purchase Agreement Program project solicited through the renewable and alternative energy Multiple Award Task Order Contract awarded by Huntsville Center in 2013. It will involve a 27-year Renewable Energy Services Agreement and lease with SunPower Corporation.
