Jan. 17, 2020 - In observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy, DLA employees gathered for a two-day viewing of the documentary “King in the Wilderness” at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Jan. 15 and 16.

Jan. 9, 2020 - A first-of-its-kind memorandum of understanding with an academic university was signed between Defense Logistics Agency Energy and George Mason University at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Jan. 8.

Jan. 2, 2020 - They come in all breeds, shapes and sizes, padding quietly at their handler’s side. Indispensable working partners and companions, these four-legged heroes help the disabled lead a more independent life. More than 28 service dog charities are part of the 2019 Combined Federal Campaign. Seven are affiliated with military and veterans support group organizations.

DLA to modernize warehouse operations 
Korey Leese, material handler supervisor for Defense Logistics Agency Distribution, assembles a combat medical kit, one of several types of kits the agency provides. Medical kit assemblies range in size from small first aid kits to large mobile field hospitals, and may include both medical and nonmedical items.
Jan. 16, 2020 - The Defense Logistics Agency is keeping up with innovation and technology changes in warehouse operations by leveraging commercial, off-the-shelf software by SAP.
