Three DLA Energy employees earn agency awards
Three DLA Energy employees earned DLA 56th Annual Employee Recognition Awards: Agnes Eugenio earned a Top 10 Outstanding DLA Personnel of the Year award; Army Master Sgt. Alvin Ortiz-O’Neill was named DLA’s Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Service Member of the Year; and Navy Lt. Cmdr. Curtis Bender earned the DLA Joint Reserve Force Field Grade Officer of the Year award.

Lego model bridges gap in fuel systems training
Carl Drechsel's passion for building with Legos is bridging a gap in fuel systems training for entry-level employees and students. As a DLA Energy project engineer, he used the interlocking bricks, gears and minifigures to assemble a realistic model of a complete Defense Department fuel receipt and distribution system.
