JBER Laundry fight stains Alaska wide
A name tape is embroidered at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Laundry facility at JBER, Alaska, Oct. 20, 2017. The JBER Laundry employs 63 Airmen who collectively wash, dry, press, fold and wrap 7,000 pounds of laundry daily – almost 7 million pounds per year. The JBER Laundry, formerly known as the Quartermaster Laundry has been supporting the laundry needs of the base community since the 1950s.
