Erin Thompson, 802nd Maintenance Support Squadron materials engineer, uses a hardness tester to validate the appropriate makeup of a metal part. The 802nd performs material/engineering tests, chemical testing and calibration services for Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, the Air Force and Department of Defense customers. They also contract with other organizations, public and private, that need use of their highly-regarded, problem-solving expertise.
