DLA Distribution Hill expands shelter repair mission
A refurbished C-ARM (C-shaped imaging scanner intensifier) machine, surgical microscope, and fully stocked operating room are installed to provide a deployable field operating room. The unit is packed for shipment directly to the field for U.S. Army Medical Materials Agency Hospital. This shelter incorporates new first generation composite carbon fiber flooring instead of aluminum to reduce vibration, decrease weight and increase shelter longevity and modernization.
