Colonel Tannehill's Farewell

Col. Tannehill and Rear Adm. Skubic See ya soon, then.

A room full of well-wishers filled People and Culture Conference Room, to bid Air Force Col. Brad Tannehill best wishes on his new adventure at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey.

Tannehill served at Defense Logistics Agency’s Land and Maritime branch as the director of the People and Culture Directorate.Col. Tannehill celebrates his time at DLA Land and Maritime with his wife, Kristy.

He was joined by his wife, Kristy, as U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Michelle Skubic, DLA Land and Maritime commander, presented him with the Defense Meritorious Service Medal and Dr. Robert Boggs, People and Culture’s Deputy Director, presented him with an eagle statue of appreciation from the People and Culture Directorate.

Tannehill said that one of his greatest accomplishments was identifying the need for the People and Culture Division to become its own directorate.

DLA Land and Maritime, especially the employees of People and Culture, will miss him greatly.

As Tannehill often would say, “It’s not goodbye. Sir, it’s see ya soon, then!”
