Describe your job in a sentence or two: As an EEO specialist, I assist the EEO manager in providing training regarding EEO law and polices, provide equal employment consulting services to managers and supervisors on systemic EEO problems as well as individual problems, and provide program direction and guidance in the area of affirmative action, complaint resolution and related areas.

How long have you worked for DLA Disposition Services? A little over a year.

What is the best piece of advice someone has given you? In my career, the best piece of advice that I was given is to remain objective. Who’s your biggest influence? I do not necessarily have a particular individual that is my biggest influence; however, I am inspired by individuals that are confident, bold and courageous for what they believe in and not easily shaken by naysayers. My faith in Jesus Christ also has a big influence in my life.

What did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a psychologist when I grew up. My master’s degree is in psychology, but I'm not sure if I will pursue a doctorate degree.
