DSCC Child Development Center garden teaches children about science and cooperation
Defense Supply Center Columbus Environmental Division Chief Nicole Goicochea and children laugh soon after a basil plant was popped out of its container for them to catch before planting the DSCC Columbus’ Child Development Center June 8. Seven pre-K classes participated in the planting day but all classes at the center tend to the garden each year. The garden is a joint partnership with the DSCC Environmental Division and is in its sixth season.
