COLUMBUS, Ohio –
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Operations Center’s Huron and Ontario rooms were bursting at the seams as 21 employees attended the New Employee Orientation session April 25 and 26 on the Defense Supply Center Columbus.
DLA Land and Maritime Chief of Staff Griff Warren welcomed the group and provided an insightful presentation on DSCC and DLA Land and Maritime. Other presentations included the Fire and Police Departments, American Federation of Government Employees Union, Equal Employment Office and DLA Human Resources Service, as well as many others.
The session concluded with a windshield tour of the base provided by Installation Support.
Approximately 75 percent of the new employees are veterans and the majority of the class are associates in the Pathways to Career Excellence program, known locally as the PaCE program.
