COLUMBUS, Ohio –
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime participated in the Ohio State University Spring Career and Internship Fair Jan. 21.
Students were interested in internships, recent graduate programs, the Pathways to Career Excellence program, DLA locations, mission, training opportunities, tuition assistance and the organizational culture. Recruiters shared the good news about the careers DLA has to offer, as well as the great benefits, flexible work schedule, fitness time and retirement plan.
Ninety students visited the DLA booth from 11:30 to 2:30. The students’ college majors included public policy, security/intelligence, political science, engineering, environmental, statistics, mathematics, international relations, earth sciences, geographical information systems, data analytics, economics, computer science and logistics.
Additional employers, including the U.S. Navy and OSU faculty members, stopped by the DLA table for information on job opportunities and mission details.
