Fillmore Army Health Clinic vaccinates employees

Fillmore U.S. Army Health Clinic staff at Defense Distribution Center Susquehanna, provided over 3,500 Moderna Covid-19 vaccines to over 1,600 installation employees assigned to New Cumberland and Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg tenant organizations Jan. 7 – May 7.

Many of the employees receiving vaccines have continued to report to work on-site at the installation in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The vaccines were administered at a vaccine pod at the Defense Logistics Agency Morale, Welfare and Recreation Susquehanna’s fitness center. 

Vaccine pod support was provided through participating agencies including Letterkenny Occupational Health Clinic; DLA firefighters/emergency medical technicians; DLA Public Safety; Morale Welfare and Recreation; DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pennsylvania; Fort Indiantown Gap and Dunham U.S. Army Health Clinic who provided both military and civilian employees for the large vaccination effort.

The vaccines were made possible through coordination between officials at DLA Distribution Headquarters and the Dunham Clinic at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
