Scheduler Update

DLA Disposition Services is transitioning to a new appointment scheduling program called Disposition Automated Scheduler. This new tool will provide our customers with reminders about upcoming appointments and an easy way to cancel appointments if they are no longer needed.  This will enable an accurate appointment calendar and will reduce customer wait times.

Schedule a local turn-in or a transportation appointment

Customers are often able to schedule transportation of their property to our designated turn-in location (only if the property has been approved for turn-in by their servicing Disposal Services Representative (DSR)) free of charge if located more than 60 miles from the designated turn-in location according to the zip code mapping tool .

The Scheduler tool was designed specifically to work hand-in-hand with the Electronic Turn-In Documents (ETIDs) application (learn more about ETIDs). Turn-Ins created in ETIDS are fed to the Scheduler and can be selected from within the tool. Please note that it is not mandatory to use ETIDs in conjunction with Scheduler. Scheduler can be used independently of the ETIDs application.

The Transportation Scheduler Tool is divided into two main segments, a section for local customers (within 60 miles from the designated turn-in location) to drop off property at the Disposition Services’ Location and a section for non-local customers (more than 60 miles from the designated turn-in location) to arrange for a direct shipment of their property to a site. Click the link below for instructions on each category.

Notice

Transportation Customers need to know their servicing DLA Disposition Services’ location (this is where the closest site is to you and where the Disposal Services Representative (DSR) will be to assist you with your turn-in needs). The designated turn-in location for your property is based upon the turn-in activity’s zip code and the zip code mapping tool.

To determine whether you’re within 60 miles or not from the designated turn-in location, please use the zip code mapping tool to determine your turn-in options.

Customers who are within 60 miles from the designated turn-in location via the zip code mapping tool and/or who desire to transport their property to the designated turn-in location at their own cost.
Customers who need to schedule a truck to deliver their property to a designated turn-in DLA Disposition Services location via the zip code mapping tool. (If under 61 miles to the designated turn-in site, customer must provide their TAC).

Shipment Packaging and Preparation

All shipments to DLA Disposition Services must be safe for transport and follow DOT and USTRANSCOM regulations. Shipments must be safe for DLA personnel to offload using a standard forklift.

Disposition Services does not ship Hazardous Waste.
