New training program fights against suicide
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — To increase suicide prevention awareness, Battle Creek Morale, Welfare and Recreation Family Program Manager and Licensed Master Social Worker Lisa Grenon invited Scott Teichmer, a member of the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Calhoun County and Question, Persuade, Refer Institute master trainer, to the Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services’ most recent Leadership Summit for a new type of training.

Disposition Services Teal Tea event is back
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and DLA Disposition Services Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office raises awareness, provides resources and reaches out to the DLA community, their families and friends not only during the month of April, but also year-round. DLA Disposition Services Sexual Assault Response Coordinator Robin Rogers resumed Teal Tea, an event that was postponed during the pandemic.
