SUSQUEHANNA, Pa. –
Jason Frantz, supply technician at Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Susquehanna, Pa., was named Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2015.
Frantz works within the organization’s Research Resolution Office, where he continuously explores new ways to improve the effectiveness of operations. Specifically, he initiates and makes corrective actions to synchronize the distribution center record with the physical inventory balance.
To synch the records with the inventory balance, Frantz initiates a complete review of all Distribution Standard System transactions, location verifications, adjustments, and suspended documentation. He then compares the data against other systems to ensure payments to vendors are in compliance with the awarded contract. Over the past year, Frantz has investigated and completed more than 275 cases, to include approximately 90 cases a month and 25 cases weekly.
“Mr. Frantz’ leadership, analytical skills and ability to teach and mentor are an essential part of the Research Resolution Office’s ability to support the Warfighter. He has sparked an unparalleled level of productivity, accuracy, and efficiency within his work area and directly contributed to the overall success of DLA Distribution Susquehanna,” said supervisor Gregry Eichelberger.
