Leave days increase based on years of service. Unused sick leave can be carried over to the next year. Annual leave has a cap of carrying over 240 hours per year.

Salaries offer additional incentives including annual pay adjustment and scheduled periodic increases.

Retirement Plan
Immediate coverage by the Federal Employee Retirement System (FERS) , part of a tiered system which contains: 
  • Basic Benefits Plan
  • Social Security
  • Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) 
TSP offers the same type of savings and tax benefits as corporate 401(k) plans. Employees can save part of their income for retirement, receive matching agency contributions, and reduce their current taxes.

Work Schedule & Telework Options
Employees may have the opportunity to select a flexible or compressed schedule, depending on their position. Telework options are also available based on role requirements.

Full-time employees can receive up to 1 hour of administrative leave, three times a week for wellness activities during work hours.
