Air Force general takes command of DLA Energy

Sept. 13, 2018 - Air Force Brig. Gen. Albert Miller took command of DLA Energy during a ceremony at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Sept. 10. DLA Director Army Lt. Gen. Darrell Williams presided over the ceremony and participated in the time-honored flag passing ceremony where Miller accepted the colors from DLA Energy Acting Commander Guy Beougher.

Fuel supply contingency planning

But what happens if one of those facilities becomes unavailable? DLA Energy collaborates with the military services across the world to put contingency plans to the test to reduce risk and ensure fuel resiliency for the warfighter.

Aug. 31, 2018 - Three Defense Logistics Agency Energy employees graduated from the 2018 Pacific Leadership Academy for Emerging and Senior Leaders in Honolulu, July 27. Quality Assurance Representative Daniel Muranaka and Resolution Specialist Caleb Whitaker participated in the PLA Emerging Leaders program while Deputy Director Ralph Wells participated in the PLA Senior Leaders program.

September 20, 2018 - Senior leaders from the Defense Logistics Agency hosted more than 200 defense-industry counterparts in the first-ever DLA Industry Day Sept. 19 at the McNamara Headquarters Complex.
