  • SAPR.mil - DoD Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) Office program and page, providing links to DoD Policies and Federal and State Laws pertaining to sexual assault, as well as DoD Annual Reports and SAPR training materials.
     
  • RAINN - Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network (RAINN) operates both the DoD Safe helpline and the National Sexual Assault Hotline. Their website also provides a variety of information on sexual assault statistics, the effects of and recovering from sexual assault, risk reduction tips, national and state resources, computer safety tips, and civilian reporting options.
     
  • Safe Helpline - Operated by RAINN, the Safe Helpline website provides links to the online helpline (live, confidential, 24/7 online support), Safe Helpline, and Info by Text, along with general information about sexual assault.
     
  • Military One Source  - Provided by the DoD to service members and their families to help with a broad range of concerns. Services are available 24 hours a day, by telephone with a professionally trained consultant and/or online.
     
  • PreventConnect  - Funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, the goal of PreventConnect is to advance the primary prevention of sexual assault and relationship violence by building a community of practice among people who are engaged in such efforts.
     
  • EVAW International  - End Violence Against Women International (EVAW) hosts an online training institute where you can register for on-demand training on a variety of sexual assault topics.
     
  • Male Survivors - Male Survivors: Overcoming Sexual Victimization of Boys & Men is devoted to addressing the unique needs and concerns of male victims of sexual assault through online support groups, myths and facts, discussion boards and an online resource library.
     
  • Sexual Abuse & Assault of Boys & Men | Confidential Support for Men (1in6.org) - The mission of the 1in6 organization is to help men who have had unwanted or abusive sexual experiences live healthier, happier lives.

Training

Training is provided and required for all DoD civilians, military service members and their supervisors. The DLA SAPR Program meets all minimum program standards, SAPR training requirements and reporting requirements as per DODI 6495.02.

The training modules within DLA's Learning Management System (LMS) are:

  • SAPR Training Module for Supervisors
  • SAPR Training Module for Civilian Workforce

SAPR training for military personnel is mandatory and MUST be provided according to the service member's branch of service requirements.

Policy

DLA's goal is a culture free of sexual assault through an environment of prevention; education and training; response capability; victim support; reporting procedures; and appropriate accountability that enhances the safety and wellbeing of all DLA employees and visitors.
