Soothsayers: Software group utilizing tools to predict parts failure
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. -- The 402nd Software Maintenance Group is utilizing software tools to perform preventive maintenance for C-5 aircraft at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. This preventive maintenance is utilized to determine the lifespans of parts so they can be replaced at a time and place of the Air Force's choosing rather than wherever the aircraft may break down and become mission incapable.
