DoD officials observe logistical innovation throughout II MEF
Distinguished visitors from the Department of Defense speak with Marines from 2nd Maintenance Battalion following a demonstration of 3D printing and additive manufacturing technology at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 17. Technological advancements such as 3D/AM printing has the potential to vastly reduce the time required to acquire small spare parts for vehicles and other equipment.
