Cynthia Smith began working for Defense Logistics Agency while in college in the summer of 1980 as a GS-3, clerk-typist in the Quality Assurance Directorate. Today, she is a GS-14 and the Deputy Director, of DLA Energy Strategic Policy & Programs Directorate.
