A single-lane trail featuring sections of a repurposed floating medium girder bridge set requisitioned by the Army’s Joint Readiness Training Center through DLA Disposition Services. Planners began revitalizing the JRTC’s 500-mile trail system in 2017 to help soldiers prepare for large-scale conflict in dense terrain. The trail system offers more comprehensive maneuvering options for units learning to fight when more developed roads and highways are no longer an option. Used bridges from DLA keep those routes open in monsoon season.
