Deputy Director, DLA Disposition Services

Colonel Fran Taylor assumed the role as Deputy Director, DLA Disposition Services on July 22, 2020. She enlisted in the Army in 1991. After six years of enlisted service, she commissioned as a Second Lieutenant upon the completion of Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA April 1999.

Colonel Taylor graduated from the Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, in December 2010; in 2002 she graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a dual master’s degree in information assurance and Business Administration.

Colonel Taylor’s previous assignments include: Platoon Leader, Shop Officer and BN Supply and Services 801st Main Support Battalion, 101st Airborne Division Fort Campbell, KY; S4 for 409th Base Support Battalion, 100th ASG Grafenwoehr, GE; Company Commander, 529th Modular Ammunition Company, 18th CSSB, Vilseck, GE; Brigade Maintenance Office, 1st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, Fort Polk, LA; AMC LST Chief, Fort Polk, LA; S4, 4th Brigade Comat Team, Support Operations Officer 123rd Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Armored Division, EL Paso, TX; Operations Officer, Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX; Instructor/Writer, Command and General Staff College, Fort Leavenworth, KS; Battalion Commander, 3-409th Regiment Brigade Support Battalion, Fort Knox, KY.
