For her long-term contributions in developing contracting solutions, Linda Barnett was inducted in the DLA Energy Hall of Fame in the McNamara Auditorium, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, on Oct. 31.

Army Col. Fredric E. Johnson: the consummate Army petroleum professional

Retired Army Col. Fredric Johnson, who served as a U.S. Army Quartermaster officer and petroleum specialist for more than three decades, passed away Aug. 8. His final assignment before retirement in 1972 was as acting commander of the Defense Fuel Supply Center, Cameron Station, Virginia, the predecessor of Defense Logistics Agency Energy.

Defense Logistics Agency historians received more than 6,000 historic photographs, negatives and 10 video tapes to add to the DLA history program during renovations to the DLA Energy Kunkel Conference Room.
